Rock star couple poll results

Thanks to all who voted for their favorite rock star couples. The voting was fast and furious, and our super-duper poll computer had trouble keeping up with all the clicks, um, er, votes. Once the smoke had cleared, this is what we found.

With almost 40% of the votes, rocker Richie Sambora and blonde beauty Heather Locklear walk away with the top nomination: clearly, they shine the brightest. Of course they garnered such a high percentage of the vote since they have a daughter together, a point that separates them from the rest of our couples. They have also been married the longest.

Coming in a not-so-close second with 19.8% of your votes are J.Lo and Puffy Combs. Although they share about half the popularity of our number one couple, their stardom continues to remain a point of interest. Considering their luminary liaison no longer twinkles, the public’s curiosity of the two remains peaked. Hey, if Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee can get back together, we can hold to the possibility that J. Lo may break off her engagement to Cris Judd and realize her true love lies in the reformed P.Diddy.

Back to the polls: Carmen Electra & Dave Navarro, and Kate Hudson & Chris Robinson tie for third place with 16.5%. At once there is a lingering faith in Electra and Navarro’s potential, despite Electra’s past ruinous relationships. On the other hand, the votes for Hudson and Robinson indicate a positive and hopeful beginning for the two who seem to be so much in love.

Finally, in fourth and last place are ex-super-goth couple Rose McGowan and Marilyn Manson. Well, what can I say? They have been broken up the longest, but does that fact reflect upon the public’s dying interest in them? Maybe it’s just the hideous nature of Manson’s appearance. Is it possible to even guess who Manson will be together with next? Who knows, but I hear Howard Stern is available.
