2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game – 8/7c on Fox
With Alex Rodriguez not being invited to the Summer Classic for the first time in a long time and thus eliminating the possibility of a Kate Hudson (or is it Madonna this week?) sighting, we can’t even pretend that there’s a celeb tie-in here — but it’s still a must-mention, if not a must-watch. This year marks the 80th MLB All-Star Game, and you know how crazy TV producers get every time a big event celebrates an anniversary with a ‘5’ or ‘0’ at the end. Plus, the big game will be played in St. Louis, home of baseball’s far-and-away best player, Albert Pujols (pictured above). Translation: The night can’t be totally devoid of excitement.
