The Donnas have made screen appearances in Drive Me Crazy and Jawbreaker, performing original songs and playing themselves in Jawbreaker and playing their songs under the name The Electrocutes in Drive Me Crazy. But with a song on the soundtrack to the Mandy Moore film, How To Deal, this band is getting more publicity than ever. Their videos are in heavy rotation on MTV, and they should seal their place on the music scene with the upcoming single “Too Bad About Your Girl,” from their current album Spend the Night. It’s been been chosen as the theme song for the skateboarding movie Grind, due out August 15.
