Channing Tatum Barely Seen in ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Trailer

The trailer for G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation has hit the Internet. It’s surprisingly mildly exciting — and almost entirely devoid of its star, Channing Tatum.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is the focal point of the trailer, until the end, when the recently recruited Bruce Willis makes his grand entrance. As does an I’ll-never-forgive-Jack-White-for-this-but-I-kinda-like-it remix of “Seven Nation Army.”

Jon Chu — who directed the latter two-thirds of the Step Up franchise (the great ones!) and the easily justifiable Justin Bieber biopic, er, documentary, Never Say Never — helmed Retaliation, which hits theaters June 29, 2012. Check out the trailer below!
