Just when TRON: Legacy appears on the verge of taking itself too seriously, in walks its white knight, Michael Sheen, to save the day. Integrating bits of Bowie and Chaplin into his role as Castor, a shifty club impresario who plays all the angles, Sheen injects Joseph Kosinski’s film with a sense of liveliness and mirth at the precise moment that it’s needed the most. And for that he didn’t even get his own character poster. Bastards.
Sheen is one of my favorite people to interview because (a) he always brings it, and (b) he has a terrific sense of humor. He delivered on both counts when I sat down to chat with him and his TRON: Legacy co-star, Beau Garrett, who is very pretty:
