Having been displaced by zombies in recent months as pop culture’s undead fascination du jour, vampires are looking to reclaim the spotlight this week with Priest, Legion director Scott Stewart’s adaptation of Korean author Min-Woo Hyung’s popular series of graphic novels. Set in a dystopian alternate world where mankind has suffered centuries of destructive conflicts with clans of feral vampires, Priest stars Stewart’s Legion collaborator, the always likable (if not necessarily bankable) Paul Bettany as a warrior-priest who must come out of exile to rescue his daughter from a particularly aggressive band of bloodsuckers. Our correspondent Todd Gilchrist recently caught up Bettany and his co-stars to talk about their exciting new take on the vampire thriller:
