It seems the world of Instant Streaming content is a battlefield and with that in mind, this news is a major coup for Netflix. Thanks to a new deal with Fox, Netflix is now able to stream past episodes of Glee and the FX series, Sons of Anarchy. Seriously, how are any of us supposed to get anything done with news like that? We’re all going to be glued to our screens for hours upon hours, so thanks, Netflix. (But no really, thank you.)
The downside of all this is that it’s not quite as amazing at it sounds. Only the first season of Glee and the first two seasons of Sons of Anarchy (it has three complete seasons) will be available to stream. The good news is that those two shows aren’t the only fruits of the deal. We’ll also see Ally McBeal, The Wonder Years, 24, Lie to Me, Arrested Development, Prison Break, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, X-Files and some others available for instant consumption. Yep, go ahead and kiss your social life goodbye right now. You’ve got some serious television to watch.
