Audiences are raving about how much fun they had watching this movie! With its lighthearted moments laced throughout exciting fight scenes and thrilling plot twists, they found it hard not to get caught up in the magic. The visuals have been praised for their originality, especially when exploring alternate realities within the Quantum realm — which Reed has pushed further than ever before. While many critic reviews were mixed at best for this film, many praised the acting performances of its leads most. In Erik Kain’s review for Forbes, he delved into Major’s acting prowess and how he brought “real depth to the supervillain [Kang] and even some surprising vulnerability.” Rudd’s role of Ant-Man was also among the most praised aspects of the film among critics with IGN’s Joshua Yehl admitting that even with this film’s increased scope, they “still maintain the awkward, deadpan humor that makes Paul Rudd’s portrayal of Scott Lang so endearing.”
