Man wakes up in who knows where, only to face an imminent apocalypse and be told that it’s his destiny to save the world he has come to know. But wait… there’s swordfights, superjumps and apparently a member of Jar Jar Binks’ lineage. Backed by a baritone exposition of the John Carter’s lonely struggle, this is the kind of trailer that really makes a summer.
