Seth Rogen will serve as host of the 27th Independent Spirit Awards ceremony.
Rogen starred in the cancer dramedy 50/50, which he co-wrote and which is nominated in the best-feature category.
The Spirits, honoring the best in independent cinema from the past year, will be held on Feb. 25, the day before the Academy Awards — as is typically the case — and air on IFC later in the evening.
