Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney Make Magic for Capsule Kids Clothing Line

Looks like we weren’t the only ones smitten with Angelina Jolie as the fierce, Disney villainess Maleficent. British designer Stella McCartney dreamed up a capsule kids collection inspired by the upcoming film and recruited its leading lady to help with design duties.

After being invited by Jolie to visit the set, McCartney was inspired by the avant-garde costuming and decided to make pint-sized versions for her acclaimed kids collection. With four kids of her own and a previous collection for Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland, McCartney is the perfect candidate to design whimsical yet wearable fashions for little boys and girls alike.

The collection of eight styles will include everything from dresses, sandals, t-shirts and sneakers for boys and girls ages four to 14, with prices ranging from about $75 to $185. The entire collection will be available at Stella McCartney stores and online, as well as Disney stores at the end of April, just before the film’s release on May 30. As both women boast impressive philanthropic records, ten percent of the sales made in Stella McCartney stores and online will benefit SOS Children’s Villages, which works to provide homes for children in need.
