Michael Fassbender Turns the Big 3-5

ALTWhile it’s uncertain what this calculates to in shark years, in human years, very handsome land-dweller Michael Fassbender turns 35 today. The continually rising star, who had a breakout year in 2011 thanks to his memorable performances in A Dangerous Method, Jane Eyre, X-Men: First Class, and his Golden Globe-nominated turn in the provocative Shame (not to mention his highly praised and highly publicized, er, manhood in the latter) was born on April 2, 1977.

Fassbender, who was last seen in a very awesome, but very distracting daydream the action flick Haywire, the Irish/German actor will appear in Ridley Scott’s hotly anticipated Prometheus on June 8. While fans will likely find their own way to celebrate all things Fassy on this glorious day, it’s a safe bet, based on these wonderfully amusing pictures from February, the 35-year-old has been in party mode for a while.

So… Happy Birthday, Michael Fassbender! May you enjoy another 35 years of being really, really, really ridiculously good looking and talented.
