The next James Bond movie doesn’t hit theaters till next November, but singer Adele may be the voice behind its theme music — according to … Adele.
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show over the weekend (scroll down for the video), and might’ve been a little too unsubtle when talking about her “next project.”
“I’m going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed. But not to record an album … This is actually a theme, what I’ve got to do. Wow, I’m really giving something away … It’s one song.” Faux-coy banter and implied winks ensued.
It would make sense, as Adele is British, possibly the biggest music superstar in the world right now, and the owner of some solid pipes. Jack White and Alicia Keys collaborated on the theme music for 2008’s Quantum of Solace.
