We know it’s silly, but many of us take it very hard when celebrity couples end their relationships; as was the case of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, After all, she was the Mary Jane to his Spider-Man. Still, breakups don’t have to be gut-wrenching and crippling, sometimes, you can certainly still love your former significant other from the distance.
Last night at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, Andrew Garfield gave us former love Emma Stone a standing ovation when she went up to receive her award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for La La Land.

Though the duo have not made any announcements as far as reconciliation goes (The La La Land star brought her brother Spencer Stone with her to the Globes), we’re just glad that the duo can be friendly with one another and root for one another’s success.
