Kate Upton is in the latest issue of the Victoria’s Secret catalogue — and she is not happy about it. According to E! News, the photo of her in the catalogue is from a 2011 shoot and Upton didn’t know it was going to be used.
“Kate is not thrilled Victoria’s Secret is using these photos,” a source tells E! News. “She is not contracted to work with Victoria’s Secret and was not notified before the images, taken in 2011, were used.”
Rumors that Upton is going to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel have of course started circulating, but with her alleged less-than-happy response to the catalogue photos, that doesn’t seem likely. And it’s not like Upton is some unknown model waiting for her career to start. She’s already been on the covers of Sports Illustrated and Vogue this year alone.
Only time will tell if Upton will earn that coveted pair of wings — but if lingerie doesn’t work out, she can always fall back on that trusty swimsuit.
