Days after Miley Cyrus announced her engagement to Liam Hemsworth, her brother Trace Cyrus, 23, revealed that his nine-month engagement to actress Brenda Song, 24, has come to an end.
“Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Cyrus said in a statement. “We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers.”
Cyrus and Song got engaged in October 2011 after beginning to date earlier that spring.

Cyrus performs in the band Ashland HIGH and is the owner of a clothing company called From Backseats to Bedrooms. Song is the lead female role in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zach and Cody and recently appeared in The Social Network.
