Now we can all share in the joy of Beyoncé’s bundle of joy. Her husband, Jay-Z just recorded a tribute song for little baby Blue Ivy Carter (B.I.C.) and it features the little tyke’s first cries a la Stevie Wonder’s song of a similar tone, “Isn’t She Lovely.” It’s nothing new to see a famous musician record a song for his child, but there’s an element about this one that feels more akin to Stevie Wonder’s classic tune than Scott Stamp’s overdone”Arms Wide Open.”
The lyrics mention previous miscarriages and declare baby Blue “magic,” plus they give us a view of the happy day Bey and Jay found out they were going to be parents. Every second is packed with nothing less than pure, incandescent joy; it’s enough to make even the hardest heart melt at least a little bit.
