Bruno Mars has been holding onto his No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart for nearly a month now. But on Thursday, Mars was “locked out” of the lead position. Mars’ single “Locked Out of Heaven” got bumped down by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ ridiculously catchy rap “Thrift Shop,” featuring Wanz.
“Thrift Shop” has been on the chart for 16 weeks, and is quickly moving up in the rankings. Last week, it moved from No. 5 to No. 2.
The question now is whether “Thrift Shop” can hold onto No. 1 for longer than a week? Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay-Z, looks like it may soon pose a big threat. Last week, the song made it’s debut on the chart at No. 84 — and this week, it has jumped 80 spots and landed at No. 4!
Check out the other songs that made it to the top 10 this week.
