13 Things You NEED To Know About Roselyn Sanchez

Since making a splash as a tough U.S. Secret Service agent in last year’s hit Rush Hour 2, the Puerto Rican born Roselyn Sanchez has steadily been adding film after film to her resume.

In the last two months alone, she has smooched with Cuba Gooding Jr. in the comedy Boat Trip, gotten down in the mud with Samuel L. Jackson in the military thriller Basic and laughed it up as an uptight lawyer who finds out her man already has two other women in the romantic comedy Chasing Papi.

Hollywood.com wanted to get to know this Latin beauty a little bit better, and we figured 13 is a pretty good number of things to know about a person, especially a lucky lady like Sanchez.

In your opinion, where’s the best place for men to meet women?

Yoga classes.

Where’s the best place for women to meet men?

Everywhere. Supermarkets. Schools. Driving in your car.

What’s the best vacation you ever took?

Making Boat Trip. I got to go to Europe, the Greek Islands. I really didn’t feel like I was working. [They were] just paying me to laugh hysterically all day long. And I got to be with Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Boxers or briefs?

Boxers.

And for men?

[She laughs] Still boxers.

Any passions?

Dancing. I would love to do a musical. I saw Chicago, and it was amazing. And I was like, I want to do this. When Spike Lee was going to do Rent, I tested with Justin Timberlake. I was so sick, too. I wanted to cancel the audition but was told, no, had go do it or wouldn’t get another chance. And no one told me I was going to audition with Justin. So I flew to New York, sick as a dog, walked in and there’s Justin, sitting there. I was like “This isn’t happening to me.” But we got through it.

Do you have a favorite romantic comedy?

Anything with Julia Roberts. Probably Pretty Woman is my favorite.

What’s your favorite drink?

Well, I don’t drink alcohol, hate it actually, but I do love cranberry juice.

If you could have dinner with one world leader and one famous dead person, who would you choose?

Bill Clinton, for sure. He’s very charismatic and I’ve heard that when you talk to him, he gives you his undivided attention. And I would love to have met Mahatma Ghandi.

Sailboat or motorboat?

Oh God, neither. I get so seasick. And anyone who tells you that you can’t feel it being on a big cruise ship lies.

If there was any other profession you could have picked, what would it have been?

Really, I wouldn’t choose anything else. Well, OK, I am obsessed with pimples, so maybe I’d be an esthetician. Not a dermatologist, but someone who beautifies skin.

What’s a sound you hate?

My cell phone. Especially when it rings when I don’t want it to.

Where are you the most happy?

Home. Puerto Rico where I come from.

Chasing Papi and Basic are currently playing in theaters.
