The Skinny: A criminal mastermind (Chestnut) infiltrates a high-tech prison to unearth an inmate’s secret hiding place for $200 million in gold–unless an imprisoned deep-cover agent (Seagal) can stop him.
The Bottom Line: Sounds only slightly more interesting than Seagal‘s real-life headlines involving his business partner/producer’s alleged connections with the Mafia. Still, the ponytailed akido-chopper’s career has proven Hard to Kill.
