The Skinny: In this movie, based on the first in a trilogy of novels by Japanese author Suzuki Koji, a mysterious videotape is circulating that dooms whomever watches it to certain death within seven days. Watts plays a reporter who finds out her niece’s death may have been caused by watching the tape.
The Bottom Line: Pretty creepy, just in time for Halloween. We’re already dying to know, what’s on that tape?, so count us in–plus, after Mulholland Falls, we’ll see anything Watts is in.
