The Skinny: A Mississippi physician and his wife (Townsend and Theron) take matters into their own hands when their diabetic daughter (Fanning) is abducted by two experienced kidnappers (Bacon and Love), turning the tables on their seemingly foolproof plan.
The Bottom Line: Amber alert, Amber alert! If this movie isn’t bizarrely timely, what is? The public is already freaked about missing little girls and people have had more than enough of the real-life stuff on the news, so it could be audiences will be more repelled by than drawn to this subject matter. (Hey, deciding whether or not to see it couldn’t possibly be as hard as promoting it.)
