The story: Roxie Hart wants nothing more than to be a star, but when she kills her lover and gets sent to prison, she ends up with a different kind of celebrity than she bargained for. Still, nothing beats the spotlight, as Roxie’s rival Velma Kelly knows, and she doesn’t like the upstart hogging all the flashbulbs one bit. To make matters worse, the two feisty gals share a lawyer who insists on sharing the spotlight, too. But there’s only room for one legend in the windy city of Chicago. Or is there?
