American Idol Finale

The votes are in! So tonight’s sing-songs won’t count, which means they’re gonna be awesome. Nobody’ll be nervous — not that nerves even exist on either of these fellas, both of whom performed with winning flair (obviously, we’ve blocked out both songs number-three — no offense to songwritin’ judge Kara DioGuardi; it’s not your fault the boys forgot your mindblowing lyrics … scoff). So … who’s gonna win? We’re Team Adam ourselves. Kinda always have been (hello, we’ve got a fansite). And if we’re talking just last night (read our recap), Adam’s “Mad World” and “Change Is Gonna Come” blew us off our couches just a letter grade more so than Kris‘ “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “What’s Goin On?” But … as Idol logic has proved season after season, voting is very unpredictable. Lots of non-Idol devotees tune in just for the finale, messing up e’erybody’s pools. Kris could easily be the David Cook to Adam’s branded-favorite Archuleta …
