The only thing better than watching movies is pretending you’re the star in their video game versions and wreaking some digital havoc.
EA Games let the stars indulge in just such video action–pummeling Orcs, shooting up enemy agents and snagging victory for Gryffendor at an event at L.A.’s Raleigh Studios, luring a collection of young Hollywood stars to sample a new collection of video games based on hot flicks: “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “James Bond 007’s Nightfire” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.”
Ashton Kutcher brought his mom; Erika Christensen displayed some serious game face while engaged in a digital bout; Tara Reid hugged and kissed her American Pie co-star Shannon Elizabeth; Wes Bentley chilled on a couch near the dance floor where Nicole Eggert was getting her groove on; and Jack Osbourne and his posse upped the laugh factor with their hilarious dance moves and attempts to pick up on girls with hip-hop raps.
Other celebs who braved a damp red carpet to get their hands on some free Playstation and X Box games included Marlon Wayans, Henry Simmons, Paul Rudd, Simon Rex, Wilmer Valderrama, Esai Morales, Garcelle Beauvais, Elisha Cuthbert, Michelle Rodriguez, Dule Hill, Alexandra Holden, Kelly Rutherford, David Alan Grier, Apollonia and J-Lo’s party-hopping ex, Cris Judd.
