In the pilot episode, we meet rising movie star Vincent Chase and his entourage: lifelong friends Eric and Turtle and older bro Johhny “Drama” Chase, himself an actor. Oh, and his agent, Ari Gold. Ari is hard at work finding Vince his next movie, as his latest, “Head On,” is about to explode into theaters. When Ari thinks he’s struck gold with a script for “Matterhorn,” Vince passes it off for a second opinion to Eric, who promptly nixes it. Indecisiveness leads to the role being offered to Colin Farell and Vince looking for another job to help keep his hangers-on hanging on.
