Get Some ‘Comic Relief’

Comic Relief  airs Saturday, November 18 at 9/8c on TBS & HBO

After an eight-year hiatus, the trio of Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, and Billy Crystal are back with a new mission: To assist the gulf coast in its rebuilding efforts following last year’s devastating Hurricane Katrina. The three-hour special will be broadcast live from Las Vegas and feature such comedic talents as Roseanne Barr, Louis C.K., Lewis Black, Jimmy Kimmel, Mike Epps, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

For 20 years, Comic Relief has been one of the major homes of activism among the comedy community. The organization has produced more than 80 shows, benefiting many causes including, assisting the homeless throughout the U.S. and Hurricane Andrew relief efforts.
