[IMG:L]And from the revelation that Angela Petrelli is Sylar’s dearest mother, we start with:
9:01 Angela and Sylar: “You are not my mother.” “But I am dear. I should have never given you up for adoption…but you need to be strong for what is to come.” She summons Bridget, whose special powers is to know the history of any object she touches. “What’s she going to do me?,” Sylar asks. “She’s going to FEED you.” Angela walks out and down the hall, hearing the soon-to-be deceased Bridget’s brain being, er, probed. She’s one tough nut, I give you that.
9:03: Nikki/Tracy freezing some flowers. Tracy has absolutely no idea who Nikki Sanders but she intends to find out. Oh, come on, you’re Nikki! Right?
9:04: Peter’s still stuck in the body of villain Jessie and has to pretend to be all badass, as the crew goes into a bank to rob it.
9:06: Bennet shows up at the Company headquarters. He’ll come back and recapture those maniacs, but then that’s it, he’s out. And he wants the Haitian to be his partner again. Angela has someone else in mind: Sylar. Say what? Bennet is none too pleased about his new partner. Sylar has been misunderstood, according to Angela. Excuse me while I laugh for a moment.
9:10: Claire doesn’t want to eat waffles–and she doesn’t ever want to go back to school. She’s a changed girl.
9:13: Speedster’s name is Daphne. She, Hiro and Ando are in a train station, and she tells them she works for some guy who has her steal stuff. But just as she tries to take off, her powers aren’t working. Hiro’s either. Enter the Haitian, carrying a briefcase.
9:17: The black bank robber, Knox, punches a hole right through one of his henchmen and takes out his heart. How sweet.
9:20: Matt and the African fellow are still spirit walking in the desert. They walk into a canyon, and there on the ground is a painting of Matt and Molly. The African dude says he painted it as a boy. Then Matt looks up to see all his whole life painted on the rocks of the canyon, including one in which he and a woman are holding a baby, looking happy. But the African says that the future is changing and starts to paint over it with something more sinister. Guess the African is connected to Matt somehow–and he’s just like Isaac from the first season. Eyes go all white when he paints.
9:25: The Laurel and Hardy of Japan following the Haitian around who seems to have the other half of the formula–with Daphne on their tail. She ends up stealing the briefcase, too. She’s a wily one.
9:28: The good Peter in the bad Jessie trying to change Knox’s mind about his evil doing. Peter slips up, however, and Know throws him across the room. Peter has got to figure out this guy’s Jessie’s power if he’s going to survive.
9:29: Sylar and Bennet show up at the bank, ready to take names. But there are real cops there and they might intrude. So, Sylar pretends to be a special agent and gets the cops to move back from the scene. “And we’re gonna need some coffee here!,” Sylar yells at the cops. He turns to Bennet, “You drink coffee, right Noah? Decaf?” Nice change of pace for him, the comic stuff. Still don’t trust him, though.
9:35: Tracy goes to New Orleans to what looks to be a funeral for…wait for it…Nikki! OK, I’m confused. Micah walks in, sees Tracy and thinks it’s his mom for a moment–but she’s not. She really isn’t Nikki after all, and so the fact she can freeze people is her own power indeed. Micah finds out Tracy and his mom were born on the same day, in the same hospital by the same doctor, Dr. Zimmerman. Are they twins separated at birth?
9:39: Peter just found out Jessie’s powers–a sonic voice which can blow everything and everyone away. Just as he is about to use it against the bank robbers, future Peter shows up, stops time and pushes the good Peter out of Jessie’s body. Then he takes the good Peter away to “show” him something. Man, future Peter sure has some omnipotent powers.
9:46: Claire’s real mom tells her she’ll teach Claire how to fight, but once they go into a locked storage unit, Claire’s mom starts to suck the air out with the fire from her hands. She gets Claire, fighting to breathe, to admit why she wants to fight bad guys because she wants to hurt “him”: Sylar. It’s alllll about Sylar.
9:47: Bennet is now in the bank, while the hostages run out. He thinks Peter is still inside Jessie, but no–and Bennet is suddenly in some deep doo-doo. But Sylar comes in to save the day, using his powers to stop the bad guys. Still, being around all that good, juicy brain power is too much of a pull for Sylar. He just gots to have him some sonic voice, cutting Jessie’s head open in front of Bennet, who tries to get him to control his urges. It can’t be controlled; it’s Sylar’s “hunger.”
9:50: “You got to save yourself before you save the world,” Claire’s biological mom says. She tells her to just be a 17 year-old girl for awhile. Oh, it’s much too late for that.
9:55: Tracy visits Dr. Zimmerman, who answers the door “Barbara?” “No, I’m Tracy Strauss.” “Oh, the one from Beverly Hills.” “How do you know that?” “Because I created you.” Clones? Good lord.
9:56: Claire’s leaving home, bye, bye.
9:58: Angela puts Sylar back into a cell, but she isn’t upset with him. It’ll just take some time. Meanwhile, Bennet is standing there with the Haitian. “Am I being replaced?,” the Haitian asks. “For the time being,” Bennet replies, “but I’m going to find his weakness and then I’m going to kill him.”
Da-da-da-dummmm…
