Miss and Mr. Golden Globe 2003 Announced

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced Dominik Garcia-Lorido and A.J. Lamas as Miss and Mr. Golden Globe for the 60th annual Golden Globe Awards. Their duty is to assist in the Golden Globes ceremony, which will take place on Jan. 19, 2003.

Sticking to tradition, this year’s Miss and Mr. Golden Globe are the daughter and son of well-known performers. Garcia-Lorido is the daughter of actor Andy Garcia and his wife Marivi Lorido Garcia. Lamas is the son of actor Lorenzo Lamas and ex-publicist Michele Cathy Smith.

“We are delighted to have Dominik Garcia-Lorido and A.J. Lamas to help us celebrate the 60th Annual Golden Globe Awards,” HFPA President Dagmar Dunlevy said at the announcement. “The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Board of Directors was extremely impressed by both of these talented second-generation performers.”
