In her latest adventure pic, Lara
Croft journeys to an underwater temple in search of lost treasures.
During her expedition, she stumbles upon a sphere that contains the
key to Pandora’s box. But despite Angelina Jolie’s valiant efforts and director Jan De Bont’s glossy visuals style, the storyline is not intelligent enough to hold it together.
Set in the 1930s, this true story–about
a down-and-out racehorse named Seabiscuit pulled out of obscurity
by three men and turned into a national hero–will shamelessly, but
successfully, tug at your heartstrings. Sit back, learn a little history and enjoy a great ride.
Although the Spy Kids franchise may be getting a little old, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over is definitely an improvement from Spy Kids 2 and should thrill audiences–just as long as their 3-D glasses work properly.
They ride together.
They die together. They’re bad boys for life. Will Smith and Martin
Lawrence are back as vice cops ready to topple yet another drug kingpin,
eight years after they first hooked up to keep the sun-baked streets
of Miami safe. If this is the best they can cook up after an eight-year absence, then these bad boys deserve a good spanking at the box office.
Teenager Halley Martin
doesn’t believe in storybook romance and thinks love just complicates
friendships–until she meets Macon, the one boy who is able to break
through her fears and perhaps allow her to experience real love for
the first time. Unfortunately it is too similar to every teen drama that has come before it.
