Well, at least the people still got to choose.
That’s about the only aspect of tonight’s People’s Choice Awards to remain unaffected by the ongoing writers strike.
There will reportedly be no red carpet, no press and no live stars on hand whatsoever–save for “host” Queen Latifah.
Her (prerecorded) hosting duties will thus be confined to introducing celebs via taped video clips–because that’s how acceptance speeches will be delivered this year.
It’s an awards show, strike style! Better get used to it, because the Golden Globes are shaping up to be even less climactic…as a mere “press conference.”
