[IMG:L]The Office — 9/8c on NBC
Uh-oh–turf wars! Remember Karen (Rashida Jones), the chick who was a mainstay last season as Jim’s (John Krasinski) girlfriend? Well she’s back, and it’s on–at least until she leaves the show for good in a few episodes due to Jones’ upcoming Fox show Unhitched.
Last we saw Ms. Filippelli, whose name Michael (Steve Carell) just loves saying, she was being flat-out ditched in NYC by Jim, who interrupted Pam’s (Jenna Fischer) talking-head segment to ask her out. She said yes, and the rest is, well, episodes 1-5 of this season.
But you can bet that Karen’s return will be none-too-comfy for Jam (Jim+Pam), and you can also bet that she is going to try and court Stanley (Leslie David Baker) to relocate to a new branch…and you can also bet that Michael is gonna throw a hissy over this.
A Stanley arc, a Michael hissy, and a Filippelli return? Good stuff, Greg Daniels, but you spoiled us with all those hour-long episodes!

[IMG:R]Daily Show with Jon Stewart — 11/10c on Comedy Central
Honestly, have you ever seen a promotional blitz like the one Jerry Seinfeld is in the midst of for Bee Movie? Not that we mind seeing so much of Jer, but it’s truly been a remarkably tireless journey. Tonight he rounds up his pre-movie campaign (unless he somehow taped another Leno segment to air later, prior to flying to NYC for The Daily Show!) with Jon Stewart in a conversation that will no doubt revolve around bees and a Seinfeld reunion.
Scrubs — 9:30/8:30c on NBC
Sounds like this should’ve been last week’s (final?) season premiere: Kim (Elizabeth Banks) goes into labor as she and J.D. (Zach Braff) contemplate their future together. Of course, there’s other stuff happening–Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) is having daughter problems; Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) obsess over a video game; Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) consoles his heartbroken son–but all eyes will be on the couple with the looming question mark. Only… Is that couple J.D. and Kim or J.D. and Elliot (Sarah Chalke)? Baby-mama drama!
[IMG:L]25 Hottest Hollywood Cougar Tales — 8/7c on E!
Yes! Take ‘em off the endangered species list–oh, those cougars. Uncool, E!. The first thing that comes to mind is just, like, “What the eff, E!?” The second is, “How the hell did they scrounge up 25?” And, finally, the third: “Fine, sign me up.” Y’know, the usual reaction to E! programming.
To Die in Jerusalem — 9/8c on HBO
If non-escapism is what you’re after on this night, HBO has you covered, as only it can. This sobering examination of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict follows an Israeli mother whose daughter was killed by a suicide bomb in 2002. She tries to track down the bomber’s Palestinian mother.
