Chicago received 41.5 percent of the votes, but was followed closely by Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, which received 30.8 percent. The Hours, meanwhile, walked away with 12.2 percent, followed by Gangs of New York with 9.6 percent and The Pianist with a last place 5.9 percent.

While Gangs wasn’t exactly your top choice for Best Picture, you still think its director, Martin Scorsese, deserves to win Best Director honors. Scorsese, who received 40.1 percent of your votes, won by a slim margin over Chicago director Rob Marshall, who danced away with 35.9 percent. Marshall was followed by Stephen Daldry (The Hours), Roman Polanski (The Pianist) and Pedro Almodovar (Talk to Her).

Your choice for Best Actor is Daniel Day-Lewis for his performance in Gangs. He was followed by Jack Nicholson (About Schmidt), Nicolas Cage (Adaptation), Adrien Brody (The Pianist) and Michael Caine (The Quiet American).

Best Actress honors went to Nicole Kidman and her prosthetic nose for her performance in the drama The Hours. Hot on her tail was Renee Zellweger for Chicago, followed by Diane Lane (Unfaithful), Julianne Moore (Far From Heaven) and Salma Hayek (Frida).

The Best Supporting Actor category, however, proved the closest race of them all. While Christopher Walken won with 28 percent of your votes for his performance in Catch Me If You Can), the rest of the field, including Paul Newman (Road to Perdition), Chris Cooper (Adaptation), Ed Harris (The Hours) and John C. Reilly (Chicago), split the rest of the votes almost evenly.

The dazzling Catherine Zeta-Jones is your pick in the Best Supporting Actress category with an overwhelming 46.9 percent of your votes, leaving the other candidates, including Julianne Moore (The Hours), Meryl Streep (The Hours), Queen Latifah (Chicago) and Kathy Bates (About Schmidt), in the dust.
