Daredevil

The Skinny: Another Marvel Comics character come to life, Daredevil goes a little darker. Matthew Murdock (Affleck) was left blind after coming into contact with a strange radioactive substance. For years, he let people think he couldn’t see–but although he couldn’t use his eyes, the substance gave him another sense: radar. Years later, Matt is working in New York’s dangerous Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. A lawyer by day, Matt becomes crime-fighting Daredevil by night, combining his radar ability, years of physical training, a billyclub and horned mask to fight mobsters, assassins and the like.
The Bottom Line: Looks to be the first huge–and we mean huge–movie of 2003. Watch this one give Spider-Man a run for his money.
