The Skinny: A hardened veteran LAPD detective and his rookie partner (Scott Speedman? Where’d they dig him up?) are assigned a high-profile quadruple homicide, but their rough-and-tumble tactics don’t sit well with a tough assistant police chief.
The Bottom Line: Kurt Russell is typically entertaining, but this film will have to walk that fine line between TV-cop drama and Training Day-type over-the-top histrionics.
