Frances McDormand Jumps To Producer Role With Two Projects

Frances McDormandIn the most exciting news of your day, Frances McDormand has decided to become a producer by setting up a TV series at HBO and optioning a novel into a movie! The Fargo actress demands your attention long enough to tell you that she will be adapting the novel Olive Kitteridge for HBO, in which she will play the eponymous seventh grade math teacher. The Pulitzer Prize-winning novel is an ensemble story, so there will be plenty of other parts available.

McDormand would also like to let the general populace know that the other novel she will adapt (this one will be a feature), Every Secret Thing, will not feature her on-screen whatsoever. She has transcended the limitations of “acting” and only wishes to add her contributions through producing. Frances McDormand, star of the upcoming blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon, thanks the generous public for listening and wants them to know that they may continue about their lives.
