The show will conclude with a feature film inspired by Alice Oseman’s upcoming and unreleased sixth volume.
Production is set to begin this summer, though a release date remains unannounced. It’s also unclear whether fan-favorite cast members like Olivia Colman, who portrays Nick’s mom, will return for the final chapter.
As reported by Tudum, the Heartstopper movie will continue the story after the events of Season 3, with Nick and Charlie deeply in love. However, as Nick gets ready for university and Charlie grows more independent at school, the strain of an impending long-distance relationship begins to take its toll. With uncertainty creeping in, their bond is put to the ultimate test.
