One of Hollywood’s biggest nights was hosted by Leslie Jones last night, May 16. The awards show continues tonight on MTV at 9 p.m. EDT/PDT with the MTV Movie & TV Awards spin-off, MTV Movie & TV Awards Unscripted. Here are some of the cutest, cringiest, and most fan-worthy moments of the night!

Outer Banks’ Best Kiss reenactment

If the MTV Movie & TV Awards are famous (more than they already are) for one thing, it’s the steamy and iconic Best Kiss reenactments. No one, and I mean NO ONE can forget about Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling’s reenactment from The Notebook!

Then, there was this other ~steamy~ kiss onstage at the awards show:

That’s right, Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes took home the golden popcorn for Best Kiss! If only our kisses with significant others could be like the ones in the movies, am I right? We would be “panicking,” too!

The big winner of television: WandaVision

We can’t forget about the big winner of last night’s show, WandaVision! Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn took home Best Fight and their “reenactment” of what their fight would’ve looked like without special effects “stunts,” as they say, in this tweet:

They sure are the cutest pair of arch nemeses we’ve ever seen! With that being said, Elizabeth Olsen took home Best Performance on TV while Kathryn Hahn took home Best Villain.

Tanner Buchanan is ‘all that, right, Addison Rae?

There was yet another on-screen kiss at the MTV Movie & TV Awards — WHAT! That’s right, Addison Rae kissed her He’s All That co-star, Tanner Buchanan. They may not have taken home Best Kiss but they did get to present the golden popcorn to Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes

Seventeen predicted that they were possibly promoting He’s All That, which is set to premiere on Netflix on August 27. But we do have to admit that Tanner already established the hottie factor on Cobra Kai, so who could blame Addison!?

But then there’s this:

I guess we’ll find out!

Fans react to the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021

The MTV Movie and TV Awards had fans on Twitter going absolutely crazy:

This just goes to show that anything is possible! Never doubt yourself!

So Scarlett Johansson’s husband slimed her… just at the wrong awards show. (If you know, you know.)

Come to think of it, Marvel really did dominate the awards show last night.

We can’t forget about this magical throwback.

It’ll be on everybody’s minds days later, but for now 😍

And the MTV Movie Award goes to…

The winners included To All the Boys: Always & Forever (Best Movie), Regé-Jean Page in Bridgerton (Breakthrough Performance), and Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Best Duo).  The late Chadwick Boseman won Best Performance in a movie for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The host herself, Leslie Jones, won Best Comedic Performance for Coming 2 America. Most Frightened Performance was awarded to Victoria Pedretti in The Haunting of Bly Manor

The MTV Movie & TV Awards also debuted Sofia Pernas and Justin Hartley as a couple on the red carpet! Later that night, Sacha Baron Cohen won the award for Comedic Genius while our Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson, received the Generation Award.
