Can we all stop pretending that the title of Pirates 4 is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides? That’s just a mouthful and an obvious ploy from Disney to make us forget this is the third sequel in the franchise! I’m onto you Disney, trying to confuse us with your overly long titles and your anti-numerical stance! Oh, you’re dog was killed by a falling twelve? My apologies. Anyway, pretty pictures!
First up we have Johnny Depp still dressed the same as Captain Jack Sparrow. Glad to see they are sticking with the theme of pirates being on ships in tropical weather. That seemed important to the story.
Next we have the two biggest names to join the franchise, Ian McShane as Blackbeard and Penelope Cruz as Angelica, Blackbeard’s daughter. Good to see they’re all dressed in the appropriate garb. And does this mean that Captain Jack will have some father-in-law problems? Oh, Pirates and their silly domestic disputes.
Ooh, looks like they’re doing an homage to Teen Wolf. Perhaps this is the carriage that houses Dame Judi Dench?

In this shot, Captain Jack and the lovely Angelica appear to be hunting wabbits, or are just trying to be sneaky…
And finally, we have Captain Jack doing what he does best: getting caught by the authorities and hauled off to who knows where.
