It could be the sound of an automobile smashing into a wall, of a factory going up in flames, or whatever explosions to which the post-apocalyptic planet Earth in All You Need Is Kill is prone. But Tom Cruise isn’t worried. Tom Cruise has outrun more than his share of firewalls without even breaking a sweat. In the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Cruise will face off once again with the boundaries of oxygen’s point of ignition.
The actor tweeted the first official photo from All You Need Is Kill, in which he plays a mortal cursed with infinitely reliving the same day of warfare with a militant alien race, over and over. The image showcases Cruise in some high-tech body armor, none too thrilled with this particularly brutal inflammation. Check out the picture below. The film will hit theaters sometime in 2014.
