‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’ Breaks In Two

ALT

Summit Entertainment confirmed yesterday that the final book of the irritatingly popular Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, is being split into two parts for its movie release. This arrangement will doubtlessly allow the film to remain faithful to the book’s pointless inanity, with the added bonus for the studio of bilking screaming tweens and lonely soccer-moms out of twice the money.

The first part of Dawn is set for a November 2011 release, with the second part following in 2012. Bill Condon, of Dreamgirls, is stepping in as director for the final two films. Cast members/professional mannequins Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be returning for Breaking Dawn.

The third Twilight film, Eclipse, is due out on June 30th, if you really have nothing better to do that weekend.
