ALTLooks like everybody is in a hurry to see The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Advance tickets for the final film, which hits theaters on Nov. 16, went on sale on Monday and — wouldn’t you know it? — those Twihards have done it again. According to Summit Entertainment, the first day advance ticket sales for Breaking Dawn – Part 2 brought in an astounding $1.17 million, that’s a whopping 87 percent increase over first day advance sales for Breaking Dawn – Part 1, which brought in $626,000.

Nearly a quarter of those advance sales went to the all-dayTwilight marathon that theaters will be holding on Nov. 15 in anticipation for the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Even with the movie still over a month away, it’s doing big business for online ticket retailers like Fandango who reports to Hollywood.com that Breaking Dawn – Part 2 represents 51 percent of this week’s sales so far, while the marathon is making up percent of sales.

If advance sales continue at this rate, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 could very well be on its way to becoming the highest grossing film in the franchise. New Moon currently holds that title with a staggering $709. 8 million worldwide intake at the box office, while Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is close behing with $705 million.
