DreamWorks takes a break from making Shrek sequels to bring us a cartoon comedy that turns the typical superhero story on its head. Will Ferrell returns to the big screen as the voice of evil-doer Megamind who finally defeats the good guy, but finds that life is just a little too boring without him. He creates a new foe to occupy his time, but when his creation gets out of control, Megamind is forced to ditch his evil ways and play the hero for once.

What We Think: A superhero spoof with the comedic stylings of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, and David Cross? Schwing.

Cool to Know: Megamind’s blue skin is actually inspired by Steven Spielberg’s superhero spoof cartoon series Freakazoid!, who’s skin was also an azure hue.
