Angelina Jolie, or rather her right leg, got a lot of attention at this year’s Academy Awards thanks to the thigh-high split in her black Versace dress. But unlike at past award shows—like the 2000 Oscars when she was seen making out with her brother on the red carpet—she doesn’t know what the fuss is all about.
It turns out the protruding gam received so much attention that Jolie was finally forced to address her undressed body part. “I heard something, but I didn’t pay any attention,” she said. “It’s as simple as being a woman, picking a dress you like and having a night, and not really thinking about anything else.”
Mission accomplished. Thanks to that dress no one can think about anything else.
