Now that Elisabetta Canalis is a single woman (she and George Clooney broke up in June after dating for a little over two years) she seems to really be taking the single girl motto of “onward and upward” quite seriously, as E! Online is reporting numerous sources have indicated that the Italian actress has signed on to compete in the 13th season of the ABC hit, Dancing with the Stars. We won’t know for sure until the full cast is revealed during the August 29th episode of Bachelor Pad, but there have been several instances over the past few years when these types of rumors turned out to be true. Previously rumored contestants for this season, Snooki and Queen Latifa, have both denied that they’re participating in this round of dances, and so over the next few weeks we can expect even more names to surface. One person who’s sure not to show up in the audience if this casting is true is Dancing alum Stacy Keibler, who’s apparently Clooney’s new main squeeze. It’s just too bad too, because lots of people worked really hard on creating those dance-off movies to pave the way for a battle like that.
