Jennifer Aniston Doesn’t Need A Man: Celeb Speak

jennifer anistonJennifer Aniston‘s promoting her new movie, The Switch, and because she’s decided to look for greener pastures than the ones she’d find as being Brad Pitt‘s baby vehicle, everyone’s fascinated as to when she’s going to procreate…and how! And since the movie is about a woman who doesn’t let her “single” voter status get in the way of her desire to raise a family, journalists everywhere are searching for a way to get Jen to comment on the commonalities between her real life and her character’s life.

At a press conference on Sunday, Jen said, “Women are realizing it more and more knowing that they don’t have to settle with a man just to have that child. Times have changed and that is also what is amazing is that we do have so many options these days, as opposed to our parents’ days when you can’t have children because you waited too long.”

She’s right! There are soooo many options. There’s adoption, the A:I that’s not Haley Joel Osment‘s Artificial Intelligence, and of course, asking for a man’s help and participation in the endeavor. But not one option is better or more respectable than the other! This is a free country, and whoever wants a child should be able to have a child. What shouldn’t be allowed, however, is a person’s choice to be single over spending her life with Brad Pitt and his multi-thousand dollar dimmers. That’s the crime here.
