At last, Jessica Simpson has popped out yet another child — okay, it’s only her second, but doesn’t it feel like the actress/singer is always pregnant?!
The Fashion Star guru and her fiancé Eric Johnson, former NFL star, welcomed their new baby boy Ace Knute Johnson into the world on Sunday, according to CNN. This is the couple’s second child; Ace has his big sis, Maxwell Drew, to play with!
Although Ace is a somewhat normal name in comparison to recent outlandish monikers — ahem, North West — we can’t help but gleefully giggle at the middle name Knute, which obviously pays homage to the beloved mush polar bear, Knut. Eh, that’s probably not the proper origin for the new babe’s name (a far more likely theory would involve football legend Knute Rockne, considering Johnson’s line of work). But come on, we wouldn’t exactly blame the “A Public Affair” singer for honoring the super cuddly bear, to whom the world said a tragic goodbye back in 2011.
If this is the case, the young Simpson has a lot to live up to, at least in terms of Knut’s general adorability. But if Simpson’s gorgeous genes pass down, we’re positive baby Ace will have no difficulties in the looks department
