Justin Timberlake is jumping for joy — or is he jumping the broom? — on the cover of Wednesday’s People magazine. Timberlake entered into holy matrimony with actress Jessica Biel on Oct. 19 in a private ceremony in Southern Italy, and now People is ready to spill all the gooey details.
Timberlake says to People of his wedding, “It was a really special evening.” Biel echoes his sentiments by saying, “It was a total fantasy experience.” And what fantasy is complete without the proper apparel?
Biel brought her dream wedding to life with an honest to goodness pink princess gown, made custom for her by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. While the bubblicious color may be outside the traditional bridal box, Biel’s look — from her elegant Audrey Hepburn up-do to her flowing tulle veil — was pure fairytale bride. Timberlake looked equally dreamy (duh) in a Tom Ford tux he helped design.
People also reveals that Timberlake and Biel exchanged their vows in front of 100 guests, including A-List friends Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland, and Beverly Mitchell (so maybe the 7th Heaven star isn’t A-List, but she was at the wedding!). Guests celebrated the happy occasion for a week at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy.
In a romantic gesture that truly took the cake — and will surely cause non-musically inclined grooms to kick themselves for years to come — Timberlake serenaded his beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle with an original song he wrote just for the occasion. Biel and Timberlake tell People there was nary a dry eye in the house. “That definitely started the tears. Not just for me, either. For pretty much everyone who was there!” Biel says.
Ultimately, the couple’s nuptials were exactly what every newly-wedded pair hopes for: a celebration of love, for one another and for all their friends and family. “To hear all of our family and friends cheering at extremely loud, inappropriate decibel levels, that became the pinnacle of the ceremony. It felt perfect. It felt like everything came together,” Timberlake tells People.
