Former Survivor winner Richard Hatch isn’t scoring many victories lately, as the 40-year-old Bostonian was slapped with a year’s probation on Monday for domestic assault.
District Judge Robert K. Pirraglia of Newport County, Mass., delivered the sentencing for an August dispute between Hatch and his former boyfriend, Glenn Boyanowski. Boyanowski claimed that Hatch shoved him off of a porch following a heated argument.
Speaking with Boston’s WPRO-AM radio, Hatch said of the ruling: “It’s a ludicrous ruling, and I’m not sure what’s behind the judge’s personal reasons for it, but it’s certainly not objective.”

According to The Associated Press, Hatch plans to appeal the ruling.
