Yearwood blocks old demo sale

Country singer Trisha Yearwood has won a federal lawsuit against Michael J. Young to stop the songwriter/producer from manufacturing, selling or distributing the recording of her 1990 single, “Love What Ya Do To Me,” Launch.com reports. Young remixed her old demo, added his own voice and then marketed the piece as a duet on the Internet. Details of the settlement were not released. Yearwood currently has a single from her forthcoming album I Would’ve Loved You Anyway at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
